There was a Norwegian theme for us at the WAN Awards last night as our Oslo Airport Expansion and Oslo Central Station each won an award!
Oslo Airport, designed with a collaborative team led by Nordic – Office of Architecture, won the Sustainable Buildings Award. This project was the first airport building in the world to achieve a BREAAM ‘Excellent’ rating and has been dubbed “the most sustainable airport in the world”.
Oslo Central Station, designed with SPACEGROUP, won the Future Projects – Transport Award. This development seeks to enhance the city with a mix of modern and traditional architecture that harmonises with the historic surroundings.
We are immensely proud of these projects, and congratulations to all the other winners!
