Whether you’re a member of our structural, infrastructure, transport, façades, bioclimatic, geotechnical or computational research teams, you’ll play an integral role in the development of award-winning buildings with leading architects and clients from across the globe.
There are not only opportunities for graduate engineers in our practice. Our business support teams are the backbone of our practice, with roles in Marketing & Communications, Legal, HR, Branding & Graphics, Admin, Accounts, IT Support and Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
We have a firm belief in a design-led approach in all aspects of our work. Design, by its very nature, is curious, iterative and subject to refinement, and this must be embraced in order to be successful; our company ethos is good design need not cost the earth. There are no cubicle walls at AKT II, you will sit alongside all your colleagues, approaching them to discuss ideas, share knowledge or solve complex design issues.

When you join AKT II, you’ll join a practice that nurtures you, providing you with training, CPD and support for chartership. There are lots of opportunities to grow and develop, and we aim to provide the tools required to help nurture your career, providing CPD training and supporting you through your Chartership with IStructE, ICE or other professional bodies. Each new starter will be paired with a buddy who can help you through your starting period with us, showing you the ropes of AKT II.
