Civic Trust Awards 2021.

AKT II scoops fabulous four.

We are pleased to have four of our projects recognised at this year’s 2021 Civic Trust Awards. The aim of the Civic Trust Awards is to encourage the best in architecture and environmental design and to improve the built environment through design, suitability, inclusiveness and accessibility. It also recognises and rewards projects that offer a positive cultural, economic, social, or environmental benefit to their local communities.

Centre Building at the LSC, designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, Kingston Town House, designed by Grafton Architects and Maggie’s Yorkshire, designed by Heatherwick Studio have been recognised for their outstanding contribution to the quality of the built environment. It’s an incredible achievement to have three of our projects awarded in this years’ celebrations and one that further highlights AKT II’s involvement in the built environment.

A noteworthy mention as well to the Duke of York Café, designed by NEX for its Highly Commended Award. This café provides a thriving new leisure destination and public roof garden in the heart of Chelsea.

Congratulations to the teams involved for their incredible efforts.
