GOSH Walkie Talkie stair climb.

Charity.

On 2020’s leap year day, Saturday 29th  Feb, a group of brave (and slightly hung-over) AKTers made their way to 20 Fenchurch Street to climb 40 storeys worth of stairs to raise money for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.

Volunteers from AKT II gathered at the ‘Walkie Talkie’ building in the City of London on leap year day’s morning to make their way up 40 storeys (from ground to the top of Sky Garden) all to raise money for Great Ormond Street.

Their annual charity Walkie Talkie Tower Climb raises vital funds for over 600 seriously ill children who arrive at GOSH every day.

A special mention goes to Ryan who managed to beat the UK’s no.2 professional tower climber, reaching the top in 5 minutes and 21 seconds! Well done to all who attended the climb and donated.

Extremely proud of our team!
