Affordable housing development plans approved.

Manor Road.

Our project with EPR Architects and English Cities Fund (ECF) received a unanimous resolution to grant for planning approval. The project provides a phased development including a total of 804 new homes, of which will bring 50% affordable housing to the borough of Newham.

As well as providing 402 affordable homes, the scheme also includes a new commercial space for office and retail as well as a new public linear park and green spaces for the area linking Canning Town station and Star Lane Park. Full planning consent of the project is currently being targeted by the end of 2019 pending the s106 conclusion.

‘Well done to the team for having secured planning for this key regeneration scheme, which brings together ECF’s vision for this area of east London, and is the first project in the capital to include 50% affordable homes. AKT II is looking forward to seeing Phase 1’s 33-storey tower going up.’ – Ricardo Baptista, Design Director.

Congratulations to all the team on having gained the resolution to grant of planning approval!
