Civil engineers join to declare climate emergency

Civil Engineers Declare

After supporting Architects Declare and signing up to register our commitment and support to Structural Engineers Declare, BuroHappold and the Happold Foundation have turned to ask civil engineers to also join this important initiative our practice and our Infrastructure team completely supports.

UK civil engineers have joined to sign an open letter to the Government to declare a climate and biodiversity emergency. AKT II was amongst the first to sign Structural Engineers Declare and now our civil engineering team within our practice have done the same.

 ‘From the embryonic conception of our projects, we have sustainability at the forefront of our work. As we face a climate and biodiversity emergency, we are best placed to make a large scale change.
